Ram darbaar

Ram Darbaar’ – was thinking of making this as a painting fo a long time. I would say finally dared to do this. Ram-Seeta with Hanuman and all four brothers in a single painting. Was the most time taking one I have done so far and I loved the end result. It’s a quite a big one 60*84 cms on board and mixed mediums. The ‘mukuts’ dhanush, jewellery and attire and mudras were the main things to consider. After I started, I realised how ambitious the project was. Singhasan and the background also were quite a big part. It’s has so many values attached and it carries such emotions to it, – respect, truth, rightousness, justice, triumph of good over evil.
Finally, hope I have done a bit of justice to this very intriguing, pure and pious piece for any Hindu household. 🙏🙏🙏
